Charming hillside hotel with great art and comfy rooms. Shuttle service to metro available. Breakfast included. Be prepared for a hike back uphill. a recommended choice for budget-conscious travelers who enjoy artsy charm.

The hotel is fine for the rate paid. It is staffed 24/7 and staff was helpful in answering some of the questions.
When asked about getting to the airport, the staff member never mentioned that there was a Shuttle service available for which a reservation was needed. The mattress support was very weak, causing the king size bed to sag in the middle (Room 101). Fortunately, there were three beds, so my wife slept on a smaller bed.

It was a bit out of the city but was easy to get bus and metro into the centre and was great value for money!

I had a great stay at this hotel in Rome. the location was perfect for me. Situated in the quiet Aurelio district on the outskirts of the city, it offered a peaceful retreat after a busy day exploring. Secondly, the staff were fantastic. They were friendly, informative, and always willing to help. One particular incident stood out - when I thought I had lost my door key, they quickly let me into my room without any hassle. Lastly, the rooms were kept very clean, with fresh towels provided daily. It was a comfortable stay, and for only 5 euros, the breakfast was a bargain.
All in all, everything was fine with my stay.

The hotel would have better been described as a youth hostel. It was filled with school parties who never slept. The advertised shuttle to the metro only ran 3 times a day and only to the metro not back so was of no use at all.

When we complained that it was not at all as advertised on the web, they did move us to their sister hotel, the Black Hotel, for the same price, which turned out to be very nice.
When we turned up, the only rooms left (even though we'd booked months before) were 3 dusty, dirty, badly-decorated family rooms on the ground floor (probably usually the last to be given out), which looked nothing like the pictures advertised on the web. Fabio, the receptionist, then moved us to the Black Hotel when we complained, so it all worked out ok! By the way, the hotel is at the top of a hill that doubles as a red light district at night! P.S. We had only seen the bad reviews after booking, but thought that because they were from a year ago, the hotel would have acted on some of them since then. They haven't, unfortunately! Really is not worthy of 3*.

The hotel had a decent price and breakfast was included. the staff was polite.
The biggest issue was the location. the hotel was far away from the city center and there was limited public transport available.

Location in the quiet street
The room was little bit dirty - wet wall, bed - cover. We had trouble to find the hotel. Little bit far a way from the centre of Rome - approx. 20 minutes by bus + metro to the Vatican.

Quadruple room for 4 persons was too congested.

My stay at this hotel was fantastic! The staff were very kind and helpful, and the cleanliness of the hotel was impressive. The location down a steep hill allowed for a peaceful environment surrounded by nature, and the hotel facilities were perfect for my needs. Additionally, the breakfast served was delicious, and the staff were always available to offer advice on transportation to nearby attractions.
Nothing is perfect.

McDonad down the road has cheaper drinks and better internet connection.
In the middle of nowhere, no internet connection in the room or in the reception. Very, very, very small room for three people. You must have a car.

I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel in a quiet area on the outskirts of Rome. The rooms were kept very clean and the staff were extremely helpful and cheerful. I also enjoyed the breakfast, which had a great variety of options for a very reasonable price.
All aspects of my stay at this hotel were satisfactory.

Friendly staff, and very good value for the price you pay for a hotel
Too far out from the city, bit hard to find as well. We ended up taking taxis which cost 20 Euros to get to the city centre. Bit of a walk if you catch train and bus.
